January's Competitor Magazine and Rocky Mountain Sports Magazine cited the Salt Lake City Marathon as "Best Race at Altitude." Monster Energy Supercross May 01, 2010
| Rice-Eccles Stadium Utah welcomes back Monster Energy® Supercross, an FIM World Championship, to Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Monster Energy® Supercross tour stop will feature the world’s top supercross racers. The first supercross race held at Rice-Eccles Stadium took place in 2001 where 42,135 packed the home of the 2002 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Having Supercross back in Utah is another major accomplishment for the state as we continue to establish Utah as one of the top action and extreme sport destinations in the world.
