Come watch the future stars of the PGA Tour play at the Nationwide Tour's Utah Championship presented by the Utah Sports Commission. The tournament - the only PGA Tour event in Utah -- is played at Willow Creek Country Club and will feature future PGA Tour stars vying for one of 25 PGA Tour Cards awarded to the top 25 players on the money list.
Even without the changes, the Nationwide Tour has had a decisive impact on the PGA Tour: In 2011, 8 of the 12 PGA Tour winners were former Utah Championship players -- including 2012 Masters winner, Bubba Watson (2003, 2004, 2005). In addition, 22 of the top 50, and 4 of the top 5 players in the Fed Ex Cup points race have played in the Utah Championship.
The tournament will take place July 8 - 14, and is scheduled for more than 20 hours of coverage from the golf channel, including live coverage of the final two rounds Saturday and Sunday.
